About Us
Residence XII is the Northwest’s premier non-profit alcohol and chemical dependency treatment center for women and their families. Opened in 1981, we have treated more than 10,000 women and their families with alcohol and chemical dependency.
Non-Profit Chemical Dependency Treatment
Our clients are women of all ages (18+) from Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, the United States and Canada. Coming from diverse backgrounds, ethnicity, education and economic standing, what they all have in common is a desire to overcome the challenges of addiction and return to a happy and productive life.
Residence XII provides free assessments and referrals for women seeking treatment for alcohol and chemical dependency. We have strong relationships with hospitals and the healthcare community both locally and nationally. As necessary or desired, we work closely with doctors and therapists to meet the specific needs of each woman.
We also work closely with Employers’ Human Resource departments as well as EAP and SAP professionals. By returning healthy employees back to the workplace, we are able to help employers reduce the costs associated with addiction in the workplace.
Our Mission
The mission of Residence XII is to develop and provide the highest quality chemical dependency treatment programs and comprehensive services to meet the unique needs of women and their families.
Residence XII is State Licensed, CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Accredited, and a member of the NAATP (National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers). In 2008, Residence XII received the James West Quality Improvement Award from the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and the Science and Service Award from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
