Our Mission
The mission of Residence XII is to develop and provide the highest quality chemical dependency treatment programs and comprehensive services to meet the unique needs of women and their families.

Sharon Chambers, MSW, LICSW, CDP
Executive Director
Sharon has over thirty years of experience in the fields of mental health, chemical dependency and youth services. She has worked as a clinician, manager and program administrator during her career. Sharon has extensive experience and passion for both program design and staff development. Prior to joining Residence XII in 1997, she worked for the State of Washington in the Department of Juvenile Rehabilitation, in management roles at Ryther Child Center and Virginia Mason Medical Center, as well as her own consulting business.

Wendy Clark, MA, LMHC, CDP
Treatment Director
Wendy received her Masters Degree from Bastyr University in counseling. She is a Chemical Dependency Professional, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has over ten years in the field. She previously worked in outpatient agencies and also had her own private practice. Wendy joined the Residence XII team in 2001. She is passionate about the work that we do at Residence XII, has great compassion for our patients and is dedicated to the growth and continued excellence of the Residence XII programs.

Lori Fregin
Director of Administration
Lori has over twenty-four years of experience in administrative management of non-profits in the fields of health care and international strategic development. She has extensive experience in the development of policies & procedures, financial systems, human resources development, facility operations and donor management. Prior to joining Residence XII in 2003, Lori worked in financial and management roles at Interdev, Providence Foundation, Providence Hospital, Ballard Convalescent Center, as well as consulting with other non-profits.

Patricia Dye
Director of Development
Pat has more than 20 years combined experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors, having worked in banking, marketing, and nonprofit fund development. Her passion for women's and children's issues has been reflected in her participation as a Board member for the March of Dimes, Program for Early Parent Support, the Washington Council for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (where she served by gubernatorial appointment), and Washington Women in Need. Prior to joining the staff at Residence XII in January of 2007, Pat served as the Development Director for Wonderland Developmental Center, a birth-to-three center focused on providing services to young children with developmental disabilities.

Sandra Free, BS, CDP
Utilization Review & Outpatient Coordinator
Sandra joined our clinical outpatient team in 2001 as an Intensive Outpatient Counselor. She now works as our Outpatient Coordinator and as the Utilization Manager for Residence XII. Her previous experience in chemical dependency treatment includes fourteen years working as both a counselor and supervisor in outpatient and inpatient facilities. Prior to joining the team here, she held the position of Clinical Director at Visions, an inpatient facility for adolescent girls.

Regina Hawkins, MSEd, CDP
Inpatient Coordinator
Gina has over ten years of experience in the field of chemical dependency and she joined Residence XII in 2006. She has worked extensively with women in treatment and in the areas of assessment and patient placement. Gina received her Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin in the field of counseling and is a Chemical Dependency Professional.

Karen Canida, BA, CDP
Assessment & Referral Coordinator
Karen has worked in the field of chemical dependency for over 15 years with both outpatient and residential programs. Prior to joining Residence XII in 2000, Karen worked for the Pregnancy Outreach Program in Snohomish County, facilitating pregnant and post partum women in accessing treatment, networking with treatment and medical agencies, and managing the outreach program for Snohomish County.
