Family members and loved ones are profoundly affected by addiction. The disease damages relationships, breaks down communication and impacts everyone affected on deep personal levels.
At Residence XII, we help families, partners and significant others recognize that addiction is a disease that can be treated so that healing can begin. We also help them learn what they can personally do to not only help in their loved one’s recovery, but their own as well.
Our Family Program includes:
Orientation and discussion on the disease of addiction *
Four-week rotation lectures **
Individual family sessions with the woman in treatment
*Orientation for family members is held Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 12:30 p.m.
** Family classes meet for four consecutive weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 1 – 2:30 p.m.
Family group meets Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and is open to people with loved ones in inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment.
